Private jet charter quotes

A useful quote takes about one conversation, not a form. Tell us where you are going, when, and who is flying, and we will come back with aircraft options and estimated pricing from operators who hold the certificate and the operational control.

Pricing a charter is mostly arithmetic: distance, aircraft class, crew duty time and airport fees. The judgment is in matching the airplane to the trip. A light jet mostly flies under 1,400 nautical miles, so a longer leg needs a midsize or super-midsize airframe, and that changes the hourly number. Turboprops run roughly $2,200 to $3,500 an hour, light jets $3,800 to $5,800, midsize $5,200 to $7,800, super-midsize $7,200 to $10,000, and heavy jets $9,500 to $14,500. Those are estimates for planning, not a quote.

The rest of the quote depends on details only you know. Empty legs, crew rest, de-icing in winter, and whether your destination has a runway and density altitude the airplane can work with all move the number. Tell us the trip and we will tell you honestly whether the airplane you want fits it.

What to have ready when you call

  • Departure and arrival airports or cities, with any flexibility
  • Travel dates and your preferred window, plus how fixed it is
  • Passenger count and total luggage, including oversize items
  • One-way or round trip, and whether you need a stay on the ground
  • Any timing constraints: a meeting, a connection, a cruise departure

What happens after you send the details

We take your trip and price it against aircraft that can actually do it, then come back with two or three realistic options rather than one number. Quotes are estimates until an operator confirms an airplane and crew for your dates, and the final figure can shift with fuel, fees and availability. You will know which airports we are pricing into, what the ground handling looks like, and where the estimate could move. If the trip is tight for a given airframe, we will say so before you commit.

Questions

How much does a private jet charter cost per hour?

By class, planning estimates run from about $2,200 to $3,500 an hour for a turboprop, $3,800 to $5,800 for a light jet, $5,200 to $7,800 for a midsize, $7,200 to $10,000 for a super-midsize, and $9,500 to $14,500 for a heavy jet. Hourly rates are a starting point. The quote for your trip also depends on distance, crew time and airport fees.

Can you quote a route like New York to Miami?

Yes. That leg is 949 nautical miles and about 2 hours 37 minutes in a light jet, with planning estimates of $10,000 to $15,000. Longer legs, like New York to Los Angeles at 2,129 nautical miles, need more range and typically a larger class of aircraft. Give us the city pair and we will price aircraft that can fly it nonstop.

Who operates the aircraft on my trip?

Flights are arranged through FAA Part 135 operators who hold the certificate and operational control of the aircraft and crew. We are a broker, not an operator, and we do not own the airplanes. That structure matters for safety oversight and for who is responsible on the day. Ask us about the operator behind any quote you are considering.
